Mortgage Rates Slide On Uncertainty

Mortgage rates fell this past week from the uncertainty stemming from the bank bailout plan that was unveiled Tuesday, according to CNNMoney.com.  The average 30-year mortgage rate fell to 5.34% from 5.70% for the week ended February 11th and the average 15-year mortgage sank to 5.03% from 5.31% according to bankrate.com.
